Duarte Nursery's 28th Annual Friends Day

On May 1, 2026, Borrell USA participated as an exhibitor in Duarte Nursery’s 28th Annual Friends Day, organized by Duarte Nursery at its facilities in Hughson, California.

The event brought together growers, farm workers, handlers, processors, suppliers, service providers, and many other members of this great agricultural industry in a special and welcoming setting for networking, learning, and strengthening relationships across the sector.

Friends Day was once again a truly unique event, featuring distinguished speakers, excellent food, and an open house at Duarte Nursery’s impressive facilities in Hughson, in the heart of California’s Central Valley.

Borrell USA would like to thank the Duarte family for their passion and commitment to agriculture in the Valley and its communities, as well as for their continued efforts to develop new almond, pistachio, and other plant varieties that help move the industry forward.

For Borrell USA, it was a pleasure to be part of this special day, to connect with so many growers and industry professionals, and to present our solutions for almond, pistachio, and nut processing.

Our goal is to contribute to improving yields and results for farmers and processors, with a special focus on helping achieve more profitable, efficient, and sustainable crops and processing operations.

During the event, we were pleased to share our ongoing plans to expand manufacturing and assembly in California, a key part of Borrell USA’s commitment to serving the local industry more closely, efficiently, and competitively.
